Setting up the rooms
Setting up and clearing away is the responsibility of the person hiring the room and time to do this should be allocated when booking. (In bookings that have catering eg a wedding we can include the set up as part of the catering booking).

Noise – We are in a residential area and as a condition of our license if there is live or amplified music the windows in both the Shelton and the Mercer rooms must remain closed.

If you need guaranteed quiet or silence for your booking – for meditation for example – we cannot provide that. Our rooms are hired for a variety of activities and we can’t guarantee that hirers in the room next to yours or customers in the bar area are going to be quiet during your activity.
