Covent Garden Community Centre (CGCC) & Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust deliver community activities for those who live, work & study in the Covent Garden & Soho Villages.
The Centres share staff, expertise, resources, volunteers, strategic & business planning.
Lockdown started so we moved all regular services online. After School Clubs continue via Zoom & social media with phone support for young people and parents. We make daily contact with all of our older users, sort out food shopping & medicine collection for the isolated & vulnerable, share Covid-19 information, mental health support and well being advice. Within 2 weeks staff were flat out, workload more than doubled.
We are seeing real hardship & food poverty. Many residents in our areas work in hospitality & entertainment industries, are freelance or in the gig economy – many have never claimed benefits or asked for help before.
COVENT GARDEN FOOD BANK opened on 30th April 2020, just 10 days later!
Our Foodbank service has been going since 30th April 2020, and is helping the local community, vulnerable people and those suffering from food poverty.
Thanks to Phil and all the volunteers who are making regular visits and doorstep deliveries.
Foodbank – Phil and his volunteers are getting food parcels and ready meals to residents in the local area. We are flexible with regards to who we can help. If you fit the following criteria, please fill in our registration form.
Supplies of food & ready meals, hygiene products, volunteers, transport, delivery bags, PPE – gloves & masks, cleaning products, hand sanitiser & more hours in the day!
We provide regular activities and events for local residents and those who work and study in Covent Garden. The Seven Dials Club has a members’ bar & book exchange. Space to sit and meet other people

In partnership with The Phoenix Garden we can organise your wedding or civil partnership, champagne in the garden as you tie the knot & a lavish reception in The Seven Dials Club afterwards.
Refunds and cancellations: Payment of 50% of room hire fee secures the date and time requested. The remaining 50% of hire fee is due any time up to one week before the date of hire. Cancellation of room hire must be in writing. Cancellation less than 14 days before hire date the full hire fee will be due and no refund given.
